Welcome to our Rollerblading Trails site

"Starting Points, Trail Rankings, and Detailed Directions"

Inline skater New pair of skates

The site provides inline skating trail guides for recreational rollerbladers. Our guides are designed to help the skater in three ways:

  • First, the skater can select a rollerblading trail that's suited to his or her skating ability based on overall and degree of difficulty rankings contained in each trail guide.

  • Second, the trail guide will get him or her to the starting point without any hassles!

  • Third, it provides facts, guideposts, photos, and on-the-trail directions so the skater never gets lost along the way.

Each trail guide contains directions for getting to the starting point of the trail, facts about the trail including length, width, and bridges, as well as landmarks along the way, which can be used as guideposts.

In addition, each guide will have two ratings, namely, an overall ranking and a degree of difficulty ranking. The rationale behind the rankings will also be provided.

What exactly is trail skating?

Trail Skating

Skating on trails is all about rolling on marked, paved paths that can be found inside parks, along waterfronts, and even in preserves or sanctuaries. Sometimes, the skater needs to do some street skating to get from one part of the trail to the next because not all trails are continuous.

Trail skating is best for recreational, inline skaters who like to roll in safe, friendly environments, which are traffic and noise free.

Skating on trails:

  • Provides a great work-out, especially when rolling longer distances

  • Burns about 550 calories per hour for a 160-lb skater at 10 mph

  • Strengthens your upper leg, hip, glutei, and back muscles

  • Improves your aerobic strength and endurance

  • Lets you have fun and meet new people
